BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Orlando S. Johnson, the founder of what today is Johnson College, defined the mission of our institution in 1918 "by founding and maintaining a school where young men and women can be taught useful arts and trades that may enable them to make an honorable living and become contributing members of society." A Board of Directors was created to carry out his vision, and today we are continuing this process. The role of the Board has not varied from its original function to provide leadership, direction, advice and council to the designated administrators.
By continuing to exercise their policy and fiduciary responsibilities in a professional and responsive manner, the Board of Directors will insure the Mission of Johnson College which is to provide a foundation of education and skills necessary for specialized employment, career advancement, and life-long learning.
