The Industry Fast Track is a joint partnership with area school districts and Johnson College. The Industry Fast Track offers high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to simultaneously enroll in secondary and post-secondary coursework on Johnson College campus. The course meets state requirements for high school graduation while providing introduction level college courses. Students will remain enrolled full-time at their high school while attending classes at Johnson College. The Industry Fast Track Advisor will supervise the students and monitor academic progress. Students who are enrolled in the program may still participate in high school extracurricular activities. Student schedules are pre-determined based on program of study. Industry Fast Track will make every effort to schedule courses between 12:30pm and 2:30 pm. Monday thru Friday.
High School students must submit an application to admissions prior to completing an Industry Fast Track Application. Students will complete the Industry Fast Track application and submit it to the high school counselor along with required documents.
Required documents: Application, counselor recommendation, and high school transcript.
Application Deadline: Summer prior to Junior or Senior Year of High School
General Qualifications for Industry Fast Track:
- Incoming junior or senior
- High School GPA of 2.5
Cost of Program:
Students are responsible for dual enrollment tuition. Tuition information may be found here. Books and materials will be provided for the students, but must be returned at the end of each semester. Consumable workbooks, lab manuals, access codes, materials, and supplies will be the student’s responsibility.
