The Community Hub is located within the Moffat Student Center. Here, Johnson College students can meet with staff or partner agency representatives to discuss available resources within the community to reduce barriers and help with access to basic needs.
These resources can help alleviate barriers students maybe facing such as transportation, child care, food insecurity, housing, and more. This office can also connect a student to any special programs on or off campus such as RISE and Parent Pathways of NEPA.

How Can We Help You?
The mission of the Community Hub at Johnson College is to provide equal access to opportunities, including the distribution and coordination of appropriate resources and programs to qualified students, in accordance with eligibility requirements. The office exercises a reasonable good faith effort to coordinate these resources designed to assist students with basic needs or programs to maximize their educational potential.
The College recognizes that each individual’s situation is unique, therefore, the Community Hub simply asks that any interested student meet with a staff member in the Community Hub to further discuss their circumstance.
All supportive services on campus are free and confidential. The Community Hub strives to work with the entire campus community to create a culture of respect where similarities and differences among students are respected and honored.
In some cases, the Community Hub may decide that a student’s needs would be best met through an off-campus community agency. Referrals to off-campus agencies may be made if a student’s needs exceed the resources that we provide on campus.
The Community Hub does not offer crisis services. In the case of an emergency, please dial 911 or contact local emergency services.
