Academic advising is a collaborative relationship between a student and an academic advisor. The Academic Advising Center helps students with registration by reviewing degree requirements, discussing class sections, communicating registration procedures and deadlines, and referring students to departments and other offices for further assistance. Academic advisors provide academic assistance and individualized attention to promote each student’s success at Johnson College.
“To guide and assist students during their time at Johnson College using a student care philosophy that promotes relationship building and developing personal educational plans and goals that will lead them to graduation”
The advising of students is divided by program and major in order to provide students with a level of consistent interaction throughout their time enrolled at Johnson College.
