How to Qualify for SOAR
- Graduate from an approved secondary technical school program of study
- Maintain a 2.75 GPA in your technical courses
- Achieve competent or advanced on your end of program test – NOCTI
- Complete competency list at the proficiency level or above
- Earn industry certificates when available
- Successfully apply to a program at Johnson College that offers SOAR credit
- Attend college within three years of high school graduation
