Designed for individuals looking to build skills and confidence, these workshops offer a supportive, practical environment to learn the basics of the building trades. Led by experienced instructors, each session walks you through every step, from curious beginner to capable doer. Walk in with questions, walk out with confidence. The Women at the Workbench: Carpentry Workshop is a hands-on experience designed for anyone eager to learn the fundamentals of woodworking in a welcoming, supportive space. Guided by a skilled female carpenter, you’ll gain practical skills like measuring, cutting, and assembling, all while creating your very own project. Whether you’re picking up a tool for the first time or rediscovering a passion, you’ll leave with new skills, lasting confidence, and something beautiful you built yourself. This workshop is for 18 years old and up. All are welcome. Cost is $65.

Most students underperform on tests due to poor test-taking skills and time management—not lack of knowledge. This workshop teaches a focused, effective study system to maximize your time and improve retention. In this session, you will learn: How written exams are structured and designed, a systematic method to study and retain information, and proven strategies to eliminate incorrect answers and improve accuracy. This workshop is for 15 years old and up. This workshop is FREE.

Join us for a fun, hands-on Pumpkin Carving Class where creativity meets tradition! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned carver, this festive workshop is perfect for getting into the Halloween spirit.
There will be step-by-step pumpkin carving guidance. Tools and pumpkins will be provided, and a short talk on the history of the Jack-o’-Lantern.

Ages 10 and up — children ages 10 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Join us for a 4- week Tai Chi workshop that will have you “swimming in air”. Participate in a series of motions developed to circulate energy though the body in a relaxed way. Every joint and muscle group will be engaged within a 9 minute motion group. This course is taught Master Instructor, Wayne Wolfe, who is a teacher of traditional Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan with more than 30 years of experience. Having learned the form from Grandmaster William CC Chen in New York City who he traveled to New York to train with for several years, Wayne has continued to study with Grandmaster Chen to this day. Tai Chi is an experience which can bring benefits to the body as well as the mind. The cost of the 4-week workshop is $50.
