The new date is Saturday, Feb. 8, when the Penguins face the Cleveland Monsters.

It will cover the theory and hands-on practice of both conventional and high-demand machining fields. Students will learn blueprint reading and math, emphasizing the use of metals and the stresses placed upon them.

We’re currently enrolling students in our Medical Assistant night course. The classes will be held at our Hazleton campus, Monday through Thursday, from 5 pm to 9 pm beginning Feb. 24, 2025, and finishing on June 18, 2025.
This program prepares students to assist physicians by performing functions related to the clinical aspects of a medical office. Functions include preparing patients for examination, treatment, routine laboratory procedures, pharmacology, and taking and documenting vital signs. Plus, students will learn the fundamentals of phlebotomy and venipunctures, anatomy & physiology, and medical terminology encountered in the field. Students will gain the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties required of a medical assistant. Upon completion, students will have the option to take the leading national/industry-recognized National Healthcareer Association’s (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam.
