To continue celebrating the incredible support Frances and Ideal Saldi ’49 have shown to Johnson College, we’re excited to announce the annual Frances and Ideal Saldi Day Forum will be held on Wednesday, April 16, at 11:00 AM on the 1st-floor concourse of Ideal Saldi Hall. This year, Dr. Katie will be joined by Hope Hoanzl ’24 as her special guest. Hope, a Forest City native now living in Dunmore, graduated from our two-year Electronic Engineering Technology Associate Degree program. During her time at Johnson College, Hope interned at Tobyhanna Army Depot. After graduating, she embraced a new challenge as an Industrial Mechanic / Robotics Tech at Graphic International Packaging in Pittston. At the end of the interview, the audience—students, alumni, faculty, staff, and guests—will have a chance to ask questions.
Plus, we continue the tradition of offering ice cream to the forum audience and campus community. Manning’s Mobile Ice Cream Truck will provide complimentary ice cream, including the special Saldi Sundae—Butter Pecan Ice Cream with whipped cream and a cherry on top!
