Responsibilities
The Steering Committee will offer strategic support, leadership, and direction as the Self-Study Working Groups carry out their designated responsibilities. This includes contributing to the oversight and advancement of the self-study process, with leadership focused on the following key areas:
- Review and approve the Self-Study Design and timeline.
- Review and approve the charge of the Working Groups.
- Review and approve the timeline and communication plan.
- Ensure institutional priorities are consistently aligned with appropriate standards in the self-study.
- Provide leadership and guidance to, and participate in, the Self-Study Working Groups.
- Request, collect, and analyze evidence for inclusion in the Evidence Inventory.
- Ensure all evidence collected sufficiently supports applicable standard(s).
- Review and provide feedback to the Self-Study Working Groups on self-study narrative drafts.
- Participate in forums, updates, and engagement sessions with stakeholders.
- Assist with communication and encourage participation across all areas of the College during the self-study process.
- Monitor Working Group progress to ensure deadlines are met.
- Review and approve the final draft of the Self-Study Report.
- Assist with preparation for the Self-Study Design Preparation Visit.
- Assist with the scheduling and preparation of the MSCHE Site Visit Team Chair and Site Visit Team visit.
