Johnson College to Host Community Trunk-or-Treat Event

Johnson College invites the community to a Trunk-or-Treat event on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 3-6 p.m. Students and staff from Johnson College as well as the community are invited to decorate car trunks by theme and hand out candy on the front lawn of the North Scranton college campus. Everyone attending is encouraged to wear their favorite costume! The event is free for all to attend. There will be food trucks, live entertainment, and a bonfire at the Halloween themed party.

Johnson College Annual Golf Tournament Raises over $31,000 for Students

IMG_9251Johnson College held its 22nd Annual Johnson College Open on May 16, 2014 at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club in Mountain Top, PA.  Thanks to the generosity of local sponsors and participation by students and alumni, the College exceeded its fundraising goal by raising over $31,000 for the Presidential Scholarship Fund which is awarded to four students annually.

Johnson College to Host Open House Saturday

Johnson College will hold an Open House for prospective students and their families on Saturday, October 18, 2014 starting at 9:30 a.m.

Open House activities will include information sessions on the admissions process, on-site applications, information on financial aid (financial aid is available to those who qualify), and student services such as housing, student life, student support, athletics, and career services. Tours of each technical area will also be conducted and department chairs will be available to review the specifics of their programs.

U.S. Sen. Robert P. Casey visited Johnson College on October 8, 2014. He was given a tour of the Diesel Truck Technology, Carpentry and Cabinetmaking Technology, and HVAC program areas.
